So, if you're reading this you've probably never seen my work on Medium before.
I used to actively post to Medium, but that lost its attraction as they sought to build up higher and higher paywalls and basically block content from ever reaching people unless it subscribed to their paywall.
Over the last year I've had maybe 10-20 articles sitting in my drafts, waiting to see the light of day. Articles on ethics (in business, engineering, design), design for developers, breaking down legal into dev-friendly terms, etc.
None of this felt like things that were worth posting because of the chaos of Medium and their choices to slowly rip their platform in two.
Now that I've found Hashnode, I think I've found a place where I can share my voice and reach the right audience. Add in the markdown support, custom domain, and all the other fancy stuff and I'm pretty happy.
Being a designer and all, I'll eventually write an article complaining about Hashnodes design... but I promise I do it out of love and not hatred.
Today I make a promise to current and future followers to post once a week, at the minimum, about a topic in this list:
- Team management
As my blog collects more content and more thoughts, I'd like to also start writing out some of my case studies here to share my thoughts with everyone.
If you're looking forward to seeing some of this content, hit that follow button and join me on this new journey.
I'm a Designer & Community Manager. I write content about startups, business strategy, design, legal, and product management.
